Rising three-star athlete Breeon Ishmail announced his commitment to Michigan on Twitter, dubbing it "God's timing."

The 6-foot-4 Ohio native received an offer from the Wolverines just several days after his unofficial visit to Ann Arbor for Michigan’s game against Penn State.

Ishmail then followed up the offer with another visit during last week's nail-biting win over Illinois, setting the stage for his official pledge to the program on Friday.

Athletic enough to play wide receiver, Ishmail will dominate more as a linebacker or edge rusher on the college football level.

Following the position switch from receiver to outside linebacker this season, the talented player posted 64 total tackles, 10.5 tackles for loss and 3.5 sacks as a senior.

Chucking his final offers from Cincinnati, Pitt, Louisville, and Tennessee, Ishmail becomes the 17th Pledge and second linebacker of the Wolverines' 2023 class.

On Saturday, Ishmail will watch his No. 3 ranked Michigan team travel to Ohio State for the big rivalry showdown set for noon EST.
