LSU receiver Kayshon Boutte wipes all Tigers content and fuels rumors after tough loss

Baton Rouge, Louisiana - Losing their season opener on a blocked field goal may not have been the only negative thing that happened to the LSU Tigers after Sunday night's game. Their star receiver Kayshon Boutte quickly deleted all LSU content from his social media following the tough loss, fueling widespread speculation.

On Monday, LSU star wide receiver Kayshon Boutte deleted all LSU content from his social media following his team's rough loss against Florida State on Sunday.

Boutte is entering the 2022-23 season as one of the top receivers in the country and a potential first-round pick for the upcoming NFL Draft.

He was one of just three wideouts named to the Associated Press preseason All-America First Team Honors, along with USC's Jordan Addison and Ohio State's Jaxon Smith-Njigba.

However, during Sunday's game, the 20-year-old failed to perform up to his First Team caliber, finishing with only two catches for 20 yards when the game clock ended at the Caesars Superdome in New Orleans.

During the third quarter, Boutte was even seen visibly frustrated during the live broadcast and being consoled by quarterback Jayden Daniels, after not receiving a single catch midway through the quarter.

On Monday, the star athlete deleted all of his posts on Instagram and some from Twitter, including the removal of all LSU mentions from his bio.

Many have speculated the Louisiana native's time with the Tigers might be over. In August, Boutte revealed he has considered entering the transfer portal because of his unfamiliarity with LSU's new head coach Brian Kelly.

After Sunday's performance, Boutte leaving LSU's program might just become the next big twist in college football.
