Caden Cotnoir (13) was in the right stream at the right time.

He was following a stream of Trent Jarrett (12) riding his four-wheeler in West Virginia, when the screen suddenly went black and Trent could be heard screaming.

The poor boy had an accident and was trapped under the bike!

"It was pretty, like, sad to hear, he's scared that he's not going to make it out," Caden later told the local news station WMUR-TV.

When Trent started yelling out a phone number, Caden didn't think twice: he dialed the numbers into his phone and breathed a sigh of relief when Trent's grandparents picked up on the other end.

His family rushed to the scene and rescued him within about 20 minutes. Fortunately, the 12-year-old had only sustained minor cuts and bruises.

Caden has since been praised for his quick acting.

"He did what he was supposed to do and got the right people and it worked out. It was an Easter miracle," local police chief Matt Currier told the TV station.

Meanwhile, the incident has forged a virtual friendship between Caden and Trent. Caden already followed Trent on TikTok because the duo shared an interest in fishing and hunting. On Monday, they met on Zoom again.

"I couldn't hardly breathe... I'd just like to thank him for everything that he's done," Trent said about his new friend and lifesaver.
