Louisville, Kentucky – One family tested whether their babies were equally confused by identical twins as full-fledged adults, and the outcome was both heartwarming and hilarious.

Identical twins can be a trip, and it's no different for babies.

In a TikTok video posted by Trina Kaughman, her husband Jimmy and his identical twin brother Matt are each holding one of her two young children.

Apparently, their uncle Matt seldom has facial hair. But on this particular day, he was rocking a full beard just like Jimmy, giving him the perfect opportunity to prank his brother's children.

The video starts with Jimmy's daughter, Meadow, being held by Matt. When she catches a glimpse of her dad standing in front of her, she becomes instantly confused as to which one her "dada" actually is.

After a short moment, Meadow reached her hands out towards Jimmy, and exclaims "daddy!"

With her dad now holding both Meadow and her brother, the young girl still isn't convinced that she made the right choice. She looks at Jimmy, then back at her uncle Matt, now baby-less. After assessing the situation, she reached out her arms out towards Matt, almost positive that she had it right this time.

Those looking on couldn't resist from cracking up at the confusion, while the two babies looked around in astonishment.

After Meadow gets passed back and forth between her dad and uncle several times, the two toddlers ultimately decide that their uncle Matt was now also their dad.
