Flaming out: Ultimate Karma for homophobic boaters who harass family flying Pride flag

Moses Lake, Washington - Authorities are investigating an incident recorded in a viral TikTok video, which shows family was repeatedly harassed by other boaters for having a Pride flag. The family then had to rescue the bullies, who somehow managed to set their own boat on fire.

The Grant County Sheriff’s Office told BuzzFeed it is now investigating the incident after a video showed a family getting harassed by a group on another boat.

After screaming and driving in circles around the family's boat, one of the bullies gave the family the middle finger, all because the family had rainbow Pride flags mounted onboard.

The clip has been viewed nearly eight million times in just two days, and makes a shocking transition between the bullies mocking the family to a plume of smoke and a burning boat.

Having presumably overheated their small engine in the attempt to repeatedly circle the family at high speeds, the bullies' boat suddenly caught fire. Though traumatized by being the target of the earlier attack, the family immediately turned off their engine and helped check the now-boatless individuals for injuries before pulling them on-board.

A second video shows the burning vessel in the distance, with a member of the family saying, "They hated you until they needed help."

Now safe, the woman who had just minutes before offered the middle finger was sobbing, sitting right next to the Pride flag she had earlier mocked.

Other boaters coming to check out the scene said, "I saw your livestream earlier!"

Hopefully, the bullies learned their lesson

Some of the more sarcastic comments included, "I hope they don't have insurance", and "WHO'S FLAMING NOW?!!! *boats off into the sunset*".

However, one user pointed out, "It's scary to think about how they might have reacted if your boat was the one on fire. They might not have helped."
