Rodent of Wall Street: Mr.Goxx the hamster is officially one of the world's top crypto-traders

Germany - Beating leading investors and the S&P 500 is no simple feat, unless you are a crypto-trading hamster named Mr. Goxx.

Goxx Capital, the rodent's trading "company", is sitting on a 15% portfolio growth since Mr. Goxx started trading. His performance has sometimes even pushed him ahead of Bitcoin's growth.

The hamster has been trading in his "company" office since the Covid-19 pandemic first locked down his owner's home country, Germany, according to the BBC.

The hamster's Twitter and Twitch handle is a reference to Mt. Gox, which was the biggest cryptocurrency exchange until it closed suddenly. The unexpected closure locked access to 850,000 BTC when the currency was still valued at under $500.

The hamster's owner created a bespoke trading office that is connected to the rest of the rodent's living space.

The office is fitted with the wheel of intention, used to select one of around 30 cryptocurrencies.

When Mr. Goxx runs the wheel, he selects a cryptocurrency once he comes to a stop and leaves the wheel. Then, he "chooses" to sell or buy the selected currency if he moves through either of the two tunnels set up next to the wheel.

A webcam, a hamster-scale desk with monitors, and wall decorations complete the pro trading setup.

Mr. Goxx is clearly focused on sharing his market experience with anyone looking to sharpen their trading game. He keeps his trading tactics transparent by livestreaming his savvy decisions on his Twitch account.

The hamster is a fine, fuzzy example to all aspiring traders. Or perhaps a reason to call it quits, because this rodent is beating humans with the equivalent of throwing darts at different stock names.
