Brisbane, Australia - Ink addict and adult film actor Amber Luke didn't let a previous experience – during which she almost went blind – put her off. Instead, she went back for more eyeball tattoos.

A few years ago, Amber Luke – likely to be Australia's most tattooed woman – decided to make the trip abroad to get her eyeballs tattooed blue.

It didn't go so well, temporarily blinding her for about three weeks and leaving her in a lot of distress. After a while, though, she got over the trauma and returned to get the job finished, ending up with eyeballs that were a light blue, marbled pattern.

"Why do them again then, you may ask?" she asked in a video after she got the eye inkings redone.

"For the exact moment I deserved to have from the very start – instantaneous, overwhelming joy," she continued.

"I got that feeling – finally. After immense torment and so, so much pain the first time, I finally got the final result I wanted."

History has now repeated itself a third time, Luke revealing on Instagram – where she goes as @amberluke.666 and boasts more than 55,000 followers – that she's now had her eyeballs tattooed a total of three times.

In a recent video, Luke is pictured in the tattoo chair on two separate occasions: the first being one being when she initially revisited the studio after going blind, and the second being her more recent third visit.

"Eyeball tattoos are considered the most extreme body modification there is," the video is captioned. "Despite the stigma – it takes a very, very strong mindset to get your eyeballs tattooed."
