Britney Spears stuns with news she'll release never-before-heard song
Los Angeles, California – For three years, the music scene has been quiet around Britney Spears. Now the former pop princess is returning with a brand‑new old song.
Though the song will be new to listeners, the song that’s set to be released is actually 25 years old. In 2001, Britney recorded the track “She’ll Never Be Me,” but it has never been released to date.
The princess of pop reportedly is now ready to let it see the light of day. The song is said to be a preview of the anniversary album, Britney, which is slated to drop on November 6, according to People magazine.
According to the report, another famous artist contributed to the track: Britney’s ex‑boyfriend Justin Timberlake, whom she dated from 1999 to 2002.
The song, titled She’ll Never Be Me, will be the first of five songs the 44‑year‑old will release on the deluxe reissue of Britney.
Britney Spears, who became a teen idol in the late 1990s, remains one of the most successful artists in music history. Most recently, in 2023, Britney teamed up with artist will.i.am for the song, Mind Your Business.
