Los Angeles, California – Britney Spears is causing a stir again with a cryptic post leveling serious accusations against her parents while questioning her abilities as a mother.
In a lengthy statement posted on Friday via X, Britney shared some unusually serious words with her followers.
The emotional post was preceded by a photo of her sons Sean Preston and Jayden James from their childhood. The snapshot shows the two boys running on the beach – an experience that has now led the musician to make serious accusations.
Five years ago she learned that her parents, Jamie and Lynne, had “secretly taken [the kids] to the beach” during their guardianship – and that this had happened throughout the summer.
The fact that the grandparents spent time with their grandchildren without her being present “demoralized” her, the 44‑year‑old admitted, adding: “I wondered why I wasn’t a part of their cool secret outings. I felt demoralized to live in a country where it was accepted for people like my mom and dad to live secret lives with my children.”
She said she “went to my knees and cried for two months" after finding out.

But even she judges herself harshly: she admitted that she feels like "she’s failed as a mother" because one of her sons told her he believes in science, not in God, which deeply shook her because of her own faith.
“I know there is a Holy Spirit that sits high in the kingdom of heaven,” the 44‑year‑old explained, adding that she prays every day.
At the same time, the Stronger singer apologized to her children for her “mistakes in the past.”
Sean and Jayden live in Hawaii with their father, Kevin Federline, whom Spears was married to from 2004 to 2007. After years of silence, Britney is reportedly back in contact with her sons.
