"I wanna say a proper 'Thank you' to all the musicians over the years that've inspired me. Dolly, we love you, thank you so much," Harry told the audience on Wednesday.

Then, Dolly's 1974 classic I Will Always Love You began playing throughout the arena.

Rather than singing along, the 32-year-old artist let the recording speak for itself and encouraged the crowd to dance as fans lit up Madison Square Garden with their phones.

Harry's fiancé, Zoë Kravitz, was also in attendance.

The tribute created an emotional moment during the show, with Harry stepping back and allowing Dolly's voice to fill the venue.

The gesture came one day after the country music legend died at age 80 following what her representatives described as a "brief battle with cancer," per People.

Harry was among several major stars to honor Dolly after her death, with John Mayer, Beyoncé, Taylor Swift, and Miley Cyrus also sharing tributes to the Nashville icon.
