Hayden Panettiere's ex Wladimir Klitschko demands investigation into her stolen jewlery
Los Angeles, California - Hayden Panettiere's ex-fiancé, Wladimir Klitschko, has demanded a police investigation after some of the late actor's personal belongings were discovered at a pawn shop.
Klitschko, who shares an 11-year-old daughter with Panettiere, said in a court request that there's a "real and continuing risk" that more of the Heroes star's personal items will be sold, per Us Weekly.
The 50-year-old claimed that a "non-family member previously connected to Hayden" sold her belongings, but the pawn shop has refused to disclose any further information about the items without police involvement.
Panettiere passed away at the age of 36 back in August from an accidental overdose. She died without a will, making Kaya the heir to her estate.
Klitschko previously petitioned for guardianship of that inheritance on behalf of their daughter, expressing specific concerns that an unnamed person would "try and misappropriate property belonging to Hayden's estate."
Over the weekend, it was reported that Panettiere's engagement ring from the former boxer – worth around $500,000 – had gone missing.
Panettiere's inner circle cast suspicion on those around her during her final days, seemingly alluding to her on-and-off boyfriend, Brian Hickerson, and his brother, Zach.
The Nashville actor's mom, Lesley Vogel, revealed that Brian Hickerson has stolen and pawned some of Panettiere's belongings before, though she did not specify when this happened.
