In journalist Jonathan Van Meter's bombshell new book Citizen Kim, the 46-year-old revealed that she's asked about a career in politics "all the time."

"I mean, the amount of people who wrote to me after [Joe] Biden's disastrous debate? The fact that you guys think I'm capable of this? I am so flattered," she says in the book, per Us Weekly.

Kim, who has given fans an inside look at her journey through law school over the past few years, said that she wants to focus on becoming an attorney before possibly wading into politics.

"I think that, No. 1, I have to pass the bar and become a lawyer first," The Kardashians star said.

"And if you do run for office, you really can't own and run a company. And I love SKIMs and what we've built. That is my focus."

Despite these ventures, Kim emphasized, "We have time" – Kardashian 2028, anyone?

Though she's most famous for her glamorous Hollywood life, Kim has become increasingly involved in criminal justice reform, and she's turned to politicians for help with her work.

The mom of four has made numerous trips to the White House under both the first Trump administration and the Biden administration, all in connection with pleas for clemency and other criminal justice efforts.

If she were to run, Kim wouldn't be the first in her family to do so. Her ex-husband, Kanye West, ran two failed presidential campaigns in 2020 and 2024.

Kim had endorsed him in his first run – while they were still married – and even reportedly served as a campaign advisor, but never confirmed that she actually voted for him.
