Trump brought Minaj, one of his vocal supporters, with him on the campaign trail on Sunday to endorse Michigan US Senate nominee Mike Rogers and other Republicans ahead of the November 3 midterm elections.

Minaj took to social media to share her trip on Air Force One with the president's crew, including White House communications director Steven Cheung.

He posted a video clip of himself chatting it up with Minaj on Air Force One, captioned, "Ladies and gentlemen, I think we may have found the new White House Press Secretary!"

The video shows Cheung asking the rapper questions about Trump.

"He's tough internationally," MInaj is heard telling Cheung, likely while preparing for her appearance alongside Trump at his Michigan rally. "He tells them what we need, not what they need."

When Cheung asked if there's anyone who works harder than Trump on the campaign trail, Minaj responded, "Absolutely not."

"Let's ask Hillary Clinton how the fake polls . . . how fake the fake polls are," Minaj added when asked what her message to America would be.
