New York, New York - Taylor Swift surprised her bestie Dakota Johnson on Saturday as the Verity star hosted Saturday Night Live on her 37th birthday.
During her monologue, Dakota poked fun at her dating history, including "two very public, very lame breakups with two very awesome musicians."
Thankfully, Dakota has some very good friends to lean on through the heartbreak – specifically, global superstar Taylor Swift.
"Ladies and gentlemen, my literal therapist," the 37-year-old said, pointing to Taylor as she arrived on stage.
Taylor then clarified that she isn't actually Dakota's therapist, saying, "You just show up once a week at my house with an empty bottle of wine and ask if I want some."
"Yeah, well, I have manners," Dakota quipped back.
While the 36-year-old pop star always gives Dakota a listening ear, she makes sure the night ends appropriately: "Then I give you Pedialyte, and my security drives you home."
Taylor later reappeared on stage at the curtain call, handing the Madame Web actor a birthday cake, as the clock had officially struck midnight to ring in Dakota's big 3-7.
After romances with Coldplay's Chris Martin and singer-songwriter Role Model, Dakota was recently rumored to be continuing her penchant for musicians with Machine Gun Kelly.
If things go south again, at least she'll have Taylor to lean on!
