London, UK - Prince William recalled his viral selfie with Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce and why he tried to "move" the NFL star out of the pic!
It's been two years since the Prince of Wales and his children, Prince George and Princess Charlotte, posed with the pop star and her then-boyfriend backstage at London's Wembley Stadium amid Taylor's Eras Tour.
During his surprise appearance on The Graham Norton Show, William was asked if he understood the significance of the photo, as it marked the first time that the future spouses appeared together on Taylor's social media.
The royal shared, "I wasn't until recently. I hadn’t appreciated the significance."
He joked, "Actually, I was trying to move him out of the photo. But Travis kept coming back in, and I couldn't work out why he kept coming back in."
"I was trying to move him out so it was just me and Taylor and the children," he said.
Taylor and Travis' humble beginnings
The selfie was a huge moment for the Swifties, as Taylor decided to go Instagram official with Travis by sharing the pic on her page.
She captioned the post, "Happy Bday M8! London shows are off to a splendid start," and tagged the Prince and Princess of Wales' official Instagram account.
The Kansas City Chiefs tight end, who wed Taylor on July 3, dished on meeting the future King on his New Heights podcast days after the concert. Travis hailed William as the "coolest motherf**ker" and said that his kids were an "absolute delight to meet."
