Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce reportedly burned lavish decór after $30 million wedding!
New York, New York - In July, Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce tied the knot in the celebrity wedding of the year. After the $30 million ceremony, the couple reportedly had their lavish decór burned to the ground!
Shortly after the star-studded ceremony at Madison Square Garden in New York City, the custom‑made wedding décor for the couple is said to have been completely destroyed.
According to the Daily Mail, a source told the tabloid that the duo's team was instructed to "dispose of" the extravagant decorations so that no "traces" remained.
The insider explained, "They didn't want people to steal it and then auction it or sell it, so they just burned it all."
The custom pieces included, among other things, tailor‑made furniture and garden‑inspired structures.
"They had told us it was going to be incinerated, but I don't know where they actually physically incinerated it," a source said.
11 semi-trucks reportedly carried the items across the country to complete the process.
The fact that no one keeps any mementos and that everything must be burned and properly disposed of is, according to the insider, "kind of crazy."
Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce have been married since July
The source also said that Swift herself probably didn't order the decorations to be burned.
The tabloid alleged that she was involved in planning and designing the ceremony because she "didn’t want to just be handed a wedding."
On July 3, after nearly three years together, Swift and Kelce said "I do." More than 1,000 guests attended the ceremony, including numerous stars.
Just a few weeks earlier, an insider told Page Six that several camera crews were present throughout the festivities: "It felt like you were at a movie set."
Whether and when footage of the dream wedding could be released remains unclear. The couple has so far kept a low profile regarding details of the celebration.
