Los Angeles, California - The 2026 Emmy Awards delivered plenty of memorable moments, with Rob Reiner receiving a posthumous win, Sabrina Carpenter taking home her first Emmy, and Bad Bunny earning a trophy for his Super Bowl halftime show. Meanwhile, South Park continued poking fun at Donald Trump after taking home another Emmy.

Rob Reiner won Outstanding Guest Actor in a Comedy Series for his role as Albert Schnurr on The Bear, nearly nine months after his tragic murder.

The emotional win marked his third Emmy overall and earned a standing ovation from the crowd.

Sabrina Carpenter also picked up her first Emmy for The Muppet Show, winning as an executive producer and performer on the special.

"So incredibly proud of the whole muppets crew on our Emmy wins!!!!!" she said in her Instagram Story.

The victory puts the singer halfway to an EGOT, as she already has Grammy wins under her sparkly belt.

Bad Bunny likewise celebrated his first Emmy for his work on the Apple Music Super Bowl LX Halftime Show.

The performance was one of the night's biggest winners, collecting seven awards across categories including Outstanding Variety Special (Live), directing, choreography, and music direction.

David Harbour also finally got his hands on an Emmy, winning Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Limited or Anthology Series or Movie for DTF St. Louis.

It was his first Emmy after several nominations for Stranger Things.

"I am taking the time to bask in and appreciate it," he said, per The Hollywood Reporter.

The animated series won Outstanding Animated Program for its Trump-focused episode, Sermon On The Mount.

The show's creators celebrated with a joke aimed directly at Trump, posting an image of the fictionalized president holding the Emmy and referencing his long-running frustration over The Apprentice never winning the award.

"You finally got your Emmy," the photo's caption read.

There were plenty of other firsts and surprises throughout the Creative Arts Emmys, too.

Widow's Bay led all programs with eight wins, while DTF St. Louis collected six.

Linda Cardellini, Shailene Woodley, and Ernest Harden Jr. were also among the notable winners.

The Creative Arts winners will be joined by the remaining nominees when the 78th Primetime Emmy Awards take place September 14.
