Ocean Springs, Mississippi - As the family of Nolan Wells and investigators await the results of the toxicology report, the late teen's friends are speaking out about regrets regarding their Fourth of July outing to a coastal barrier island.

It's been more than a month since Wells' body was found along the Mississippi Gulf Coast after he went missing during a July 4 trip to Horn Island. In that time, numerous theories have circulated online about what might've happened to Wells.

With OnlyFans models chiming in, arrests being made over threats against potential witnesses, and the 18-year-old’s friends speaking to commentators, there’s no shortage of speculation surrounding the case.

Now, just days after two of Wells' friends made an "emotional" return to Horn Island, four other friends of his – along with their attorney – appeared on Brandon Tatum's podcast, where they shared their regrets about ever visiting Horn Island.

Wells' friend Tracestin Shepherd also appeared on Tatum's podcast in July.

In an upcoming interview for The Officer Tatum Show, Wells' friends Warren Hudson, Jax Pitalo, and Morgan Seymour (two of whom visited Horn Island last week), opened up about the public's allegations against them and how they've been managing in the weeks since Wells' death, per reports by TMZ, who claim to have obtained footage before the interview's release.

Warren told Tatum, "I wish we would have never went out on the Fourth of July ... I know this wouldn't have happened," adding that he was like a brother to the group.

TMZ also reports that the group of friends touched on the theory that Wells was aboard their sinking boat when someone called a private tow service for help, with Jax and Warren questioning why they would've called a towing service, and later the Coast Guard, if Wells was dead on the boat.

Morgan came for the media and the public, per TMZ, emphasizing that people should've let authorities investigate before dropping their theories online.

Warren emphasized this, as well: "No one had facts. They were just pushing this horrible narrative [that was] all lies about everyone, and it's sick."

The episode is set to drop on Monday night.

Wells disappeared on July 4 after going to Horn Island with friends. His body was found two days later, but authorities are still investigating the cause and manner of his death.

No arrests have been made in connection with Wells' death.
