Tucson, Arizona - New information regarding Nancy Guthrie's mysterious disappearance and possible death has come to light as experts and true crime commentators focus on the last person who saw Today Show host Savannah Guthrie's mom alive.

Savannah may have attended the US Open over the weekend, but that doesn't negate the fact that her mom's whereabouts are still unknown. However, new information is emerging.

In a multi-hour livestream on Sunday night, self-proclaimed investigator Jonathan Lee Riches of JLR Investigates first claimed that the last people to see Nancy alive were her daughter (Savannah's sister), Annie Guthrie, and her husband, Tommaso Cioni.

When news broke in February of Nancy's apparent abduction in the middle of the night, many on social media were quick to point fingers at Annie, while others took offense at blame being placed on those related to Nancy.

However, Riches doesn't seem to mind the backlash, admitting that his takes "might trigger some people," before elaborating on his theory.

In the livestream, Riches said, "I don't think a stranger did this."

The one thing that remains unknown – despite ransom notes and claims that Nancy died soon after being taken – is who took the Today Show host's mother. However, Riches has a few theories, according to his "sources" on the ground in Tucson.

"There's some conflicting information. ... My sources say it was Tommaso and a couple children," Riches said before admitting, "I've never really shared that before."

Riches then added that several reports claim Tommaso has now left the state of Arizona, despite "conflicting information that he came back in town. ... He left."

"But why? Why would he leave? Where would he go?" Riches asked before delving into Tommaso's history, noting that Tommaso was born in Italy but came to the United States around 2007 or 2008 and created a band with several men called Early Black.

"Oh, you have to listen to the lyrics of Early Black," Riches stressed, claiming that when he listened, he heard a lot of lyrics about "murder, death, destruction, offing."

Riches notes the argument that "music doesn't mean murder or kidnapping" before turning his attention to Annie Guthrie.

"It's quite possible that Annie and Tommaso are not together right now," Riches said, adding they might be in separate locations.

Nancy Guthrie, who is 84 years old, is believed to have been kidnapped from her Tucson home sometime in the early hours of February 1.

Both the FBI and Savannah Guthrie have made numerous pleas to the public, hoping to get any information that might help them find Nancy.
