Trump drops anti-trans slur in stunning attack against South Carolina Democrat Annie Andrews

Washington DC - President Donald Trump recently used a transphobic slur to attack a Democrat running against a MAGA-backed candidate in South Carolina.

In a Truth Social post shared on Monday, Trump used the term "trannie" to slander Annie Andrews, who is running to unseat Republican Senator Darline Graham in the November midterm elections.

"She is in favor of Transgender for Everyone, Open Borders, Defunding the Police, High Taxes, a Weak Military, and will absolutely fight to take your guns away – In other words, she is against our Great Second Amendment!" Trump wrote.

"Trannie is not for South Carolina, and South Carolina must show, in the upcoming Election, that it is not for her," he added.

Darline is the sister of the late Senator Lindsey Graham, a staunch MAGA loyalist who suddenly passed away in July.

Trump has made a major push to ensure she holds onto her brother's seat. According to CNN, his MAGA Inc. PAC has spent more than $800,000 to help her campaign.

Andrews – who is a cisgender pediatrician – has faced attacks from Republicans over her support for the trans community, though she has publicly said she is not in favor of gender-affirming surgery for minors.

In his second term, Trump has repeatedly targeted the trans community, and he and his allies have continued to use anti-trans slurs in social media posts and public speeches.

Just last week, Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth gave a speech warning military troops that there will be "no fatties, no trannies, no beardos, no weirdos, no wimps, no radicals – Just warriors" from now on.
