Washington DC - Former Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene recently weighed in on rumors that she and Tucker Carlson are considering a run for president.

In an interview with Politico Playbook, MTG stated definitively that neither she nor Carlson are looking to run for president, noting that the ex-Fox News host has made that clear both privately and publicly.

The former Georgia representative was responding to online speculation surrounding a possible run after a photo went viral of herself sitting at a table with Carlson, Kentucky Congressman Thomas Massie, and former counterterrorism official Joe Kent.

The three joined forces after having spent several months publicly feuding with President Donald Trump. The group has openly criticized his agenda, pushed for the release of files on sex trafficker Jeffrey Epstein, and accused the president of abandoning the "America First" values he campaigned on.

The MAGA defectors have even been mulling the idea of forming their own political party, as they no longer feel that they identify with Republicans or Democrats.

"Our argument is the two-party system is a complete and total failure. I am 100% totally completely disgusted with both parties," Greene said.

She went on to say that support for their cause has been "overwhelming," and she has been "really surprised" by the number of "large donors" offering to "donate in big ways to help it."

On Tuesday, Greene shared an X post citing a poll that claimed 53% of those surveyed chose "America First" compared to 47% who picked "MAGA," adding in the caption that "America First is the future!"
