Los Angeles, California – If you need a mood‑lifting video, give this charming trio a try. For the past week, Kareem Khalil, his son Taj, and their cat Chase have been making people laugh on Instagram, and understandably so!

Is it jealousy? In the video, the father and son are playing exuberantly together. Kareem has his son Taj on his back while crawling around the living room on all fours. However, Chase, the kitty cat, doesn’t seem to like the spectacle.

With a skeptical look, he watches his owner and the little boy. Eventually, the cat tries to join in on the action.

In the process of trying to be included, he gets in Kareem’s way, forcing the California dad to stop dead in his tracks before planting a few kisses on his furry friend’s forehead.

That doesn’t seem to satisfy the house cat, so Kareem steps it up.

The video then transitions, and suddenly the cat is lying on Taj’s back. True to the saying “good things come in threes,” dad, kiddo, and cat are now roaming the room together.

The scene gets even funnier when the goofy trio passes Kareem’s second child, baby Jazelle. The little girl widens her eyes in amazement at the sight!

The clip quickly became a hit on Instagram, racking up over 15 million views since last week, along with 1.4  million likes.

The comment section is now being used for more jokes. For example, someone posted a meme showing a turtle carrying a smaller turtle on its back, which in turn has an even tinier turtle perched on top.

No wonder the mood in the house is so upbeat under these circumstances!
