This golden retriever was her humans' first child, but now that a human baby has joined the family, she's trying to reclaim her space – and wants to be burped!

The proud parents of a new human baby and a Golden Retriever have been posting sweet pics of the two since mid-July on Instagram. Per an adorable introductory video, this couple's son and Daphne are "Built-in best friends, forever."

In the intro clip, the female dog sniffs the little human with great curiosity. Is this really the beginning of a friendship? Since August, Daphne has been looking a little jealous.

Daphne is now demanding the same treatment as the baby. For example, she wants her humans to burp her like the baby, as an adorable viral video shows.

The whole family is on the couch in this sweet clip. The dad is trying to get the babe to burp by patting his back. Daphne wants the same back‑pat and is lying on top of her owner.

"She’s gotta be included in everything," the caption explains. The clip boasts over 80,000 views and heart-emojis have flooded the comments section.

This isn't the first time Daphne has demanded the same treatment as her baby brother.

In another clip from mid‑August that's garnered over 70,000 views, the mother is nursing her infant – and Daphne's not happy about it at all!

Daphne stands demandingly in front of her owner, as if she wants a sip of the breast milk too.

A few days ago, another video appeared, showing Daphne demanding pets while the baby sleeps.

"My dog reminds me that I was there for her first," her mother said in the video text.

It looks like Daphne is going to have to learn to share her parents with her new baby brother. At least it looks like everyone is getting along so far!
