New York, New York - Dogs of all breeds, from small to large and in charge, took NYC by storm on Saturday for the 36th Annual Tompkins Square Halloween Dog Parade, where a fur baby dressed as New York Knicks point guard Jalen Brunson, took the event's top prize. But the pup's killer costume wasn't the only showstopper of the day!

We have to admit, the award-winning Knicks costume – complete with the Brunson-inspired dog placed inside a giant New York Knicks basketball on a miniature court – was quite the look and par for the course, since the Knicks secured the bag and took home the NBA Finals title this year.

But it wasn't the only attention-grabbing costume on display at the annual dog Halloween parade! When you consider the two drool-inspiring costumes the Knicks pup was up against — one being a cake and the other a pug-tastic charcuterie board – it's clear the people of NYC were not playing games when it came to designing their dogs' outfits!

Also spotted at the parade was a dog and its owner rocking a look from the animated film Up, with the dog dressed as the house with a slew of balloons tied to it that flies away, while the owner dressed as the movie's old man protagonist, Carl Fredricksen.

Another dog was dressed as Yoda from Star Wars, lightsaber and all!

The Tompkins Square Halloween Dog Parade started in 1990 as a hyper-local offshoot of the Tompkins Square Dog Run, which was New York City's very first official dog run.
