If you mix a Golden Retriever with a poodle, you get a goldendoodle – a dog breed that's both loving and intelligent.

Those two traits are clearly embodied by the star of a new viral hit, goldendoodle Luca. According to Luca's owner, this pooch has many positive traits.

A few days ago, the dog owner and avid TikToker uploaded a comedy clip featuring her and that adorable doggo. The clip has gone viral on both Instagram and TikTok.

In the sweet video, Luca's owner is slicing cheese when a larger piece falls to the floor. Her staged shock is dramatically edited and set to Bonnie Tyler’s Holding Out for a Hero.

The hero she's been waiting for appears on screen just moments later: Unsurprisingly, it's her Goldendoodle! But he's dressed up like a superhero.

With the gusto one would expect from an excitable dog, Luca jumps off the bed and heads out to help. The super‑dog races down the stairs and darts into the kitchen.

There, he appears to catch the falling piece of cheese just before it hits the floor. He devours it in one bite.

"He's always there when I need him," Luca's owner states in the clip's caption. TikTokers are here for it.

"The superhero we all deserve," commented one. Others chimed in, saying, "Ah, cheese tax."
