Mom with 800 tattoos makes kids cry with dramatic transformation: "Even my dog looked twice!"
Kidderminster, UK - Despite freaking out her kids on an earlier attempt, Missy decided to once again cover up her extraordinary tattoo collection – the results made her unrecognizable!
Melissa "Missy" Sloan has long been considered one of the UK's most tattooed women, with more than 800 inkings dotting her skin and lending her an incredibly unique aesthetic.
It's this same extreme body modification that she has tried to erase – at least temporarily – on numerous occasions, but never quite succeeded in doing so.
Her first attempt didn't go too well. She bought a $4 bottle of foundation and spent around half an hour covering her entire face with its contents.
When she appeared downstairs, in front of her family, the shock was palpable.
"The kids freaked out because they didn’t like it," she explained in comments cited by Bored Panda. "My partner looked twice. He said, 'No, it doesn't suit you. Get your tattoos back. It looks weird.'"
Her youngest child was particularly confronted: "They burst out crying, and even my dog looked twice. She didn't like me that way. My youngest wanted me back as I was. It scared her."
Missy, who has long complained about the disadvantages that come with extreme tattoos as well as the nature of her addiction to ink, didn't give up with just that one attempt, however.
In 2024, she slathered her face with a thick layer of makeup that was specifically designed to cover up tattoos.
"They said, 'Go back to your craziness, mum,'" she explained at the time. "None of them spoke to me. It didn't go well. It wasn't the same, it's like they were looking at a different person, a stranger."
