Backstreet Boy Nick Carter (41) and his wife Lauren (37) shared an Instagram photo of their family and growing baby bump this Easter weekend.

After several miscarriages, the pregnancy comes as a surprise for the pair.

The photo shows the couple with their son Odin (4) and daughter Saoirse (1) on an Easter egg hunt. Lauren is wearing a flowered dress over her eight-months-pregnant belly and looks like she is ready to pop!

"These are the memories and moments we will never forget," the singer said.

Nick has posted several photos of Lauren's bump and the baby's ultrasound for his fans on Instagram since announcing the unexpected pregnancy on January 13.

The boy band heartthrob said his wife was "high risk" and that she didn't find out she was having a baby until five and a half months into her pregnancy.

"I never knew that being a father and provider to these little lives would the most important and greatest job of my life," he wrote.

Nick Carter and Lauren Kitt got married in 2014 after six years of dating and started trying for a family the following year.

They were introduced on a blind date set up by Nick's brother Aaron Carter – also a 90s teen pop sensation with whom Nick had an E! reality show in 2006.

Nick later got a restraining order against his brother for threatening to kill his pregnant wife Lauren and unborn child in 2019. The couple no longer has a relationship with Aaron, who said they were "done for life."

The Backstreet Boy often captions his photos "#family." His third baby with Lauren is due at the end of April.
