On Monday, Puck detailed Murray's disturbing alleged behavior on the set of Aziz'z Ansari's movie, as well as the large sum of cash he forked up.

The outlet reported that the 72-year-old actor discreetly settled with the unnamed staffer for just over $100,000 following her accusations of sexual harassment earlier this year.

The stagger was described as a "much younger female" and it was revealed that the incident occurred because Murray assumed she "had been flirting with him."

"So at one moment when the two were in close proximity near a bed that was part of the production, Murray started kissing her body and straddling her," the report reads.

"Murray later said that he was just being jestful, but the woman interpreted his actions as entirely sexual. She was horrified."

The report also dished that the Ghostbusters star "felt miserable" over the encounter and "not just at what he thought was a miscommunication, but also at how one moment had caused his co-workers to essentially lose their jobs."

Per the story, for the settlement, both parties "agreed to maintain confidentiality."

In April, Deadline reported that the film's production company Searchlight Pictures put Ansari's directorial debut on pause following the unnamed accuser's filing.

Following this, while speaking with CNBC, Murray commented on the incident, saying of his inappropriate behavior that he did something he though was "funny, and it wasn't taken that way."

"As of now, we're talking and we're trying to make peace with each other. I think that's where the real issue is, between our peace," the Groundhog Day actor explained at the time.

"We're both professionals, we like each others' work. We like each other, I think, and if we can't really get along and trust each other, there's no point in going further working together or making the movie as well. It's been quite an education for me."
