Chatsworth, California - They say time flies when you're having fun and that certainly seems to be the case for LeBron James' eldest son, Bronny, who posted about his recent prom experience.

Bronny took social media by storm on Wednesday, with pictures of his prom night trending everywhere.

Dressed to the nines, the 17-year-old wore a blue and black custom suit with blue velvet shoes, and was complemented by date for the night, Peyton Gelfuso. Shining bright like a diamond, Gelfuso wore a strapless white dress featuring a plunging neckline and a dramatic feathered leg-slit. His mother, Savannah James, shared a number of photos to Instagram, clearly emotional over the family milestone.

"Sooooo @bronny went to prom this past weekend….. Tons of emotions and realizations," she wrote in her caption. Time really flies. So proud of you young man!! I will always have your front and your back!!💕 Zhuri is processing all of this too!! 😂😂 (Last slide)."

Though the son of the NBA legend has recently made headlines for his high-school prom, Bronny has been the social media buzz for quite some time.

Earlier this year, the 6-foot 3-inch point-guard launched a signature collection with PSD underwear, becoming the youngest athlete to have secured a deal with the brand.

Like his father, Bronny too appeared on the cover of Sports Illustrated with his e-sports team.

The teenager is currently a junior at Sierra Canyon, where he is focused on his playing career. Should everything workout as hoped, he will be draft eligible in two years under the NBA’s current rules, which require incoming players to be at least 19 years old and at least one year removed from graduating high school.

LeBron James has long said he wants to play alongside his son in the NBA and discussed the possibility in a recent Twitter Q&A with fans.

When asked if he "100% plans on playing with Bronny," the four-time NBA champion said, "That’s the plan! God willing."
