Kanye West is working on DONDA 2!
It looks like new music is on the way from Ye.
On Monday, record executive Steven Victor told Complex, "Ye has started working on his new masterpiece DONDA 2."
While Victor didn't provide any details about the album, the fact it holds the same name as the artist's 10th studio album, DONDA, indicates that it could very well be a sequel album – a first for Ye.
Adding to the mix, Ye was spotted in the studio with longtime collaborator Scarface on December 28.
The video clip – which was posted on Twitter – doesn't have any sound, but Ye is seen vibing out on the keyboard as Scarface nods his head along to the unheard beat.
It's unclear if the two were laying down beats for DONDA 2, but with Victor confirming the album is in the works, it's highly likely the two masterminds were creating some musical magic for its impending release.
The news of Ye's follow-up album comes roughly four months after DONDA was released, and much has happened in the rapper's life since then.
Since then, Kim filed to be declared legally single after Ye directed one of his lyrics towards his ex during the Free Harry Hoover benefit concert on December 9, saying, "I need you to run right back to me – more specifically, Kimberly."
Meanwhile, Kim has been busy getting cozy with a new boo in Pete Davidson.
Will Ye spill the tea about his true feelings about Kim's new romance on DONDA 2? Only time will tell.
