Individually, Clarkson and Grande already possess angelic singing voices with quite the range. But when the two join forces, ears around the world are given the gift of a lifetime.

Such is the case for the two pop superstars' latest Christmas duet, Santa, Can't You Hear Me?

The Christmas song, which is sure to become a classic in the years to come, appears on Clarkson's new holiday album, When Christmas Comes Around.

As if the latest duet from two of The Voice coaches wasn't a gift from the musical gods in and of itself, Clarkson took things a step further by inviting Grande to perform the song live on her NBC special that aired Thursday, rightfully titled, When Christmas Comes Around.

The two music icons were dressed for the part, looking like winter wonderland royalty in elegant gowns and hairdos that would make Marilyn Monroe and Audrey Hepburn proud.

What's most impressive about their performance was just how captivating the vocals of it were. Despite both Clarkson and Grande looking ravishing as ever, their harmonies stole the show in the best way possible.

On first listen, you can almost picture yourself dancing around the kitchen while baking holiday treats as these two powerful vocalists soulfully sing, "All I ever wanted isn't on a shelf, and Santa can't you hear me?"

Though many artists have tried to top the Christmas classic that is Mariah Carey's All I Want For Christmas is You, many have failed. But if there was ever a song to stand a chance, it's Clarkson's latest holiday banger.
