Los Angeles, California – As to be expected, Megan Fox and Machine Gun Kelly packed on the PDA before, during, and after the 2021 Billboard Music Awards on Sunday. But before the awards ceremony, Fox posted something on Instagram that left people scratching their heads.

There was nothing strange about Kelly (31) and Fox (35) touching tongues on the red carpet.

After all, this is what's come to be expected from the couple that always seems to be pushing the envelope.

But Fox changed things up when she posted a sexy picture of herself and Kelly before the Billboard Awards on Sunday with the caption, "It's the broom for me."

Rather than commenting on the mischievous location of her hand in the photo, the actor shouted out the broom leaning against the house in the background.

Surely, the broom wasn't supposed to be the stand-out star of the shot, but Fox figured it deserved to be named for its presence.

Yet, the broom wasn't the only strange aspect of the photo.

Kelly rocked a new "accessory" to the awards show – a painted black tongue!

Sticking it out for all to see, the rocker showed it off next to the couple's matching outfits.

Kelly was dressed in a black blazer with black bell-bottoms and an unbuttoned white shirt, while Fox opted for a revealing, strappy black bodysuit and a sheer black midi skirt.

The musician, who won a Billboard award for Rock Artist and Rock Album, gave a special shout out to Fox in his acceptance speech, calling her his "twin soul."

The two love birds haven't been shy about showing their adoration for each other, even in creepy ways like carrying each other's blood in their own personal pendants.

There's only one question left to ask: when will Kelly add another piece of jewlery to make her his wife for life?
