Prince Harry remained in England after the funeral – will there finally be a reconciliation?

London, UK - Prince Harry was supposed to fly back to California as soon as possible after the funeral of his grandfather Prince Philip, back to his very pregnant wife Meghan. But are there signs of reconciliation within the royal family?

No sooner was the intimate funeral for the husband of Queen Elizabeth II over than media focus began to shift to his grandsons. Though sources indicate the two have been estranged since Harry stepped away from royal duties, it seems that William and his little brother might be working things out.

It's about time! To outsiders, it appeared at the funeral that the brothers still hadn't reconciled all their differences, as they shared just a few words about the service.

It seemed as if Megxit and the scandalous Oprah interview had driven a final wedge between the pair.

Since Queen Elizabeth's turned 95 today, Harry would have a pretty valid reason to stay longer.

Immediately following the ceremonies, the brothers met with their father, Prince Charles, for several hours of "peace talks".

It's likely that the men spoke of how the late Prince Phillip would have wanted reconciliation for the two. Perhaps they came up with a plan to move forward together.

As The Sun reported, Harry has a transferable plane ticket, which doesn't yet have a set return date attached to it.

But it is doubtful that he will leave his son Archie, who turns two next month, and his sweetheart alone for too long.

Update, April 21, 2:55 PM EST: Prince Harry has officially returned to the US

Prince Harry has used his return ticket and left one day prior to the queen's 95th birthday.

According to reports from the Daily Mail and Elle, Prince Harry has now officially returned to the US.

His flight landed at Los Angeles International Airport from London on Tuesday afternoon, and he later arrived at his Montecito, California home around 4 PM. Meghan Markle and son Archie have remained in the mansion during his trip, where Harry will quarantine following his return.

Despite private talks that are said to have occurred between Prince Harry and Queen Elizabeth II since the funeral of his grandfather on Saturday, it is confirmed that he will be missing her birthday.

It is unclear whether the meetings with the queen, his father, and brother have led to the deep family strain being resolved.
