Beverly Hills, California - The upcoming Golden Globes Awards show will be one to remember, as the yearly event has returned with a stellar list of nominees including Rihanna and Taylor Swift.

On Monday, Lopez vs. Lopez stars George Lopez and his daughter Mayan announced the 80th annual Golden Globes Awards' highly anticipated list of nominations for its 2023 festivities.

The Globes, which were not aired live last year due to several controversies, scandals, and lack of diversity among its organizing body Hollywood Foreign Press Association (HFPA), will return to NBC on January 10 with comedian Jerrod Carmichael as the host.

Among the nominees for 2023 are several fan-favorites.

RiRi, T-Swift, and Lady Gaga have each received a nod in the Best Original Song category.

The Midnights artist was recognized for Where the Crawdads Sings' song Carolina, while Rihanna was nominated for her track for the Marvel movie Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, Lift Me Up.

Ms. Gaga's nomination is for the song Hold My Hand, featured in Top Gun: Maverick.

Elsewhere, to honor acting this season, Selena Gomez, Zendaya, and Jenna Ortega scored Golden Globe nods for Best Actress for their roles in the respective TV series Only Murders in the Building, Euphoria, and Wednesday.

DC star Brendan Fraser's acting comeback was honored with a nomination for Best Actor in a Motion Picture, but he has already said he will not attend the ceremony due to his sexual assault allegations against Philip Berk, former president of the HFPA.

Within the Marvel universe, Angela Bassett is up for Best Supporting Actress for her critically-acclaimed performance in the Black Panther sequel.

Additionally, House of the Dragon is in the race for Best Drama Television Series.

Who will grab the gold? The 2023 Golden Globe Awards will air live from Beverley Hills on January 10 at 8 PM ET on NBC.
