Five shrunken queens went big for a place in the finale on RuPaul's Drag Race

Los Angeles, California - With the much-anticipated season 13 finale on the horizon for RuPaul's Drag Race, Rosé seems to be heading straight for the crown!

On Friday's episode 13, the girls had no time for a mini challenge and went straight on to the max – another acting task.

Granted, we've seen our fair share of acting stunts this season, but this one had a special sci-fi twist to it: the competing girls were up against each other in a very special production of "Henny! I Shrunk The Drag Queens."

Olivia chose Ginger Ale, the nice but dumb girl. Her pick didn't come as a surprise, as we've seen her in this role too often before. It would have been refreshing to see Olivia spice things up with a challenging role for once.

Rosé went for the sarcastic role of Brandy – a no-brainer. And Gottmik was an obvious choice for the whiny Chardonnay.

Kandy and Symone both fought to play the villain of the piece, Dominique Perignon. But a frustrated Symone eventually caved to the "boss bitch" Kandy Muse and took on the role of the brainy lead, Margarita.

A poorly written script was polished by Rosé

Then it was time to go small or go home with. While the extravaganza was studded with sci-fi special effects, the shrunken queens disappointed with rather lame one-liners that were at times more cringe-worthy than gut-bursting to watch.

However, we have to cut the queens some slack, as the poor script was pre-written by the show's judges themselves. Having done such a lousy writing job, the judges undoubtedly lost their rights to accuse anyone of the queens of being unfunny.

Rosé nevertheless outshone her competitors as the hilarious queen she is, serving one sarcastic punchline after another.

Gottmik got some laughs with the whiny Paris Hilton-attitude we know so well –works every time! Symone, the comedic star of the season, only delivered a mediocre performance but it was enough to place her in the top three and to get praise from the jury.

Meanwhile, Olivia never quite got the timing right for her gags to hit the right note. And Kandy... well, she failed big time in a role that was pretty much tailored for her.

But the teeny-tiny queens later made up for a lousy show with some sky-high fashion on the runway.

Gottmik was a fan's favorite, strutting down the runway with a giant beige overcoat and a beautiful black wig. Her next reveal stunned everyone: beneath, she was wearing a sparkling golden bodice covered in tons and tons of watches. Her jaw-dropping look was inspired by a scene in Disney's 1997 animated movie Hercules, in which the mythical Greek hero is stopped by a peddler who opens up his coat and asks if he wants to buy a sundial.

Hands down, Gottmik's outfit was by far the most creative and most unexpected look of the season – if not the show's entire run so far.

However, Rosé still deserved the crown this week, as she stunned us all, not only with a hilarious show but also with an embellished '60s-inspired monochrome look on the runway.

Eventually, Olivia and Kandy were up for a fierce lip sync to Cher’s Strong Enough.

The jury deemed Kandy was stronger, and Olivia was left to sashay away. While Kandy is undoubtedly a star, it was her third time in the bottom. Meanwhile, it was only Olivia's second lip-sync, and she had previously snatched three wins. The whole decision seemed a bit biased on the jury's side.

The final four for next week's showdown are Kandy, Gottmik, Symone, and Rosé. With Rosé on a winning streak, the odds are on the NYC queen to steal the crown.
