According to the Daily Mail, the incident occurred on a flight from San Jose del Cabo, Mexico to Los Angeles last week.

Initially, 33-year-old Alexander Tung Cuu Lee was just one of many passengers on the American Airlines flight, but things shifted quickly as the man allegedly began muttering to himself during the flight that there were supposedly "ten killers on the plane."

He then allegedly tried to move to a new seat near first class, and also apparently asked for a coffee, but was denied both by the flight attendants in charge. This in turn caused the situation to come to a head.

In a video posted on Twitter, a male flight attendant can be seen standing in the aisle and saying twice in the direction of the angry 33-year-old, "Are you threatening me?"

The flight attendant then turns to walk away, but Lee runs after him, lunges with his right arm, and hits him in the back of the head with full force!

Other passengers are heard shouting "oh my God" and seem visibly surprised, while the attacker walks back to his seat. Meanwhile, the victim of the attack reaches for the plane's phone – presumably to inform the captain and others about the incident.

In another video posted by Australian radio host Smallzy, the 33-year-old is seen getting his hands zip-tied together by a flight attendant as a man – possibly an air marshal – keeps guard.

When the plane landed in Los Angeles, Lee was immediately detained by airport police, and according to an American Airlines spokesperson, the airline has since banned the aggressive passenger from flying for life.

Meanwhile, the investigation into the case is ongoing. If Alexander Tung Cuu Lee is found guilty, he faces up to 20 years in prison for his punching ways.
