The Georgia Bulldogs were nothing short of amazing in their national championship showing on Monday night.

En route to winning their second consecutive national title, the Bulldogs set the record for the most points in scored in a CFP title game and set a record for the largest margin of victory in CFP history.

Adding to the impressive list of championship records, Georgia's win makes them the first back-to-back national champion in the CFP era and the first since Alabama in 2011-12 (of the Bowl Champion Series era).

Georgia is only the third team in the modern college football era, and just the eighth team in history, to win back-to-back titles!

Led by their Heisman finalist quarterback Stetson Bennett, Georgia's offense accounted for 615 total yards, and passer Bennett tied the Playoff championship game record of six total touchdowns – four passing and two rushing.

His outstanding performance earned him Offensive MVP of the championships – his second-straight honor.

Defensively, the Bulldogs held TCU to just 36 rushing yards and one touchdown and forced three turnovers, all credited to the championship's defensive MVP Javon Bullard.

"As a kid, you know, you always dream of moments like this. And just to see those moments and accomplishments and things like that come true, it's just a surreal feeling," Bullard said following the victory. "I'm extremely blessed to be in the position I am. I just thank God for it every day."

The Bulldogs end their champion season with a perfect 15-0 record and become just the second team ever to accomplish this feat, behind LSU in 2019.
