Tech-savvy fans were quick to spot the notchless iPhone appear on a recent episode of Apple's streamed series Ted Lasso called, "The Signal". Many took to Twitter to theorize over the possibility of Apple having just leaked the iPhone 13 5G right on their own network show.

SlashGear says the device featured in the episode does have an Apple logo on the back, and might be a hint at the next-gen smartphone, with a camera sensor under the screen, something that some Android phones have already been able to achieve.

Other users noted the rounded corners and rose-gold finish that seemed to indicate a new version of the classic.

There were plenty of doubters who chimed in to say that they didn't believe it was real, and that the notchless screen was a result of over-zealous editors who wanted to make the phone's screen show up better.

Tom Warren, senior editor for The Verge also went to Twitter to share his thoughts and screenshots believing that it was just the result of post-processing, with commenters mocking the notion that Apple could have possibly upgraded their device so significantly as to remove the notch. One said, "Oh no one could've thought Apple innovated for once lmao"

The iPhone 13 is predicted to be announced within the next two weeks based on previous release schedules.
