Los Angeles, California - Ariana Grande has been granted permission to subpoena the identities of the hackers who leaked her unreleased songs!
According to Variety, Judge Mark H. Epstein has approved the Petal singer's recent request following her July lawsuit against the John Does.
"Given that there is no one to whom notice can be given anyway, it makes little sense to wait the 16 days. And on the merits of the motion, good cause is shown," the judge wrote.
On Tuesday, Ariana's lawyers filed an ex parte application for expedited discovery, arguing that because the alleged thieves' identities are unknown, the "hacking, theft, dissemination, sales, and publication" of the pop star's creative properties will continue.
Her attorneys added that there's an "increased risk that additional content will be stolen or sold, and that the account, subscriber, and login data needed to identify Defendants will be lost."
In the 33-year-old's first complaint, it was revealed that the defendants shared 45 unreleased songs without her permission in 2023.
The Side to Side hitmaker is currently on the final leg of her Eternal Sunshine tour and will be taking a step back from spotlight once her run ends.
