Las Vegas, Nevada - Cardi B gave an exciting update on her third album as she celebrates the anniversary of her sophomore project, Am I The Drama?

The Bronx rapper isn't playing around when it comes to her next album – she even confirmed that it's in the works during the iHeartRadio Music Festival in Sin City!

Cardi spilled the tea with The Breakfast Club, telling the hosts: "I am doing a new album. And after November, after my birthday, I'm shifting myself away just to record."

After Charlamagane tha God jokingly asked if fans will have to wait "another eight years" for her next project, which she replied emphatically: "No."

The Bodak Yellow emcee explained that the untitled project isn't complete, though she has recorded two tracks that she does enjoy.

Cardi admitted that she still has a "long way to go" but plans on dropping the album in 2027, adding: "I'm not even playing around, I just got this confidence."

The Grammy-winner dropped her latest single, AH HA, in July and previously teased that she would be "very busy" in the fall.

Meanwhile, on Saturday, Cardi commemorated the one-year anniversary of her sophomore album on Instagram with a behind-the-scenes video highlighting all the moments leading up to its release.

She captioned the post: "Happy anniversary to AM I THE DRAMA? the album really did live up to its name.. the way it was something new every day."

"Thank you so much to my team, thank you to my fans, and thank you to my little baby boy who was in my tummy the whole way giving me soooo much strength. Should we do it again next year???" Cardi added.
