Swift, well-known as a supporter of the NFL's Kansas City Chiefs given her husband Travis Kelce plays for them, was also spotted courtside as the Knicks won the NBA Finals in June.

Knicks players Tyler Kolek and Miles McBride appeared on an NBA 2K TikTok livestream on Thursday when they were asked who could be considered the "fakest" celebrity fans.

"Maybe Taylor Swift?" Kolek said. "I don't know if I've seen her at any other games."

McBride agreed, adding: "Swifties not going like that answer."

But a Knicks spokesperson told media outlets late on Friday, "Taylor Swift has been a fan of the Knicks for many years, has a long history with Madison Square Garden, and we are incredibly grateful to her for her support of the organization."

Swift – whose hits include Bad Blood – married Kelce at the Knicks' home arena, Madison Square Garden, in a ceremony attended by over 1,000 guests in July.
