From a new adaptation of one of Stephen King's iconic tales to the DC Universe taking fear to a new level, there's definitely something wicked coming this way.

American Horror Story season 13

Ryan Murphy's horror anthology kicked off its 13th season last month, with new episodes coming throughout October.

American Horror Story's latest chapter follows Ben DeSoto, played by Joey Pollari, a hospice caretaker who suffers from triskaidekaphobia – AKA the fear of the number 13.

Ben's life gets even stranger when he takes a new gig at the eerie residential building, The Apollyon, which, unbeknownst to him, houses a devilish secret!

Jessica Chastain stars in this supernatural, psychological horror film based on the novel Incidents Around the House.

Ursula, portrayed by Chastain, is the proud mom of Bela, but it would seem that someone else is just as protective of the young girl.

An entity known as the "other mommy" takes on the appearance of Ursula and becomes possessive of her "daughter," which leads to strange and scary things happening around the house.

Will Ursula and her family get rid of this evil spirit, or has the haunting just begun?

Other Mommy is in theaters now.

Mike Flanagan is back in the directing chair, but this time, he's taking on one of the best horror stories ever told.

The latest Carrie adaptation puts a modern spin on King's classic novel, with Summer H. Howell playing the ill-fated teenage girl who seeks vengeance on her tormentors after gaining mysterious powers.

While many may know Carrie's tragic story and its tragic ending, Flanagan's version has been praised in early reviews, with some noting slight changes from the source material.

Horror fans can catch Carrie now streaming on Amazon Prime Video.

Clayface

Gotham has a new face...

The next DC Universe film will explore the horrific origins of one of Batman's greatest foes, Clayface.

The body horror film based on the titular character follows actor Matt Hagen, played by Tom Rhys Harries, whose face is brutally disfigured and who turns to a scientist for help.

Unfortunately, Hagen's experiment goes awry, which leads to him slowly losing his sanity.

Clayface, which is part of the franchise's Chapter One: Gods and Monsters, will be DC's first horror film and also plays a crucial part in James Gunn's revamped universe.

Look fear in the face: Clayface hits theaters everyone on October 23.
