King Charles cooks up masterful plan to reunite sons Prince Harry and William
UK - King Charles apparently has had enough of the royal family feud. According to an insider, he wants to mediate the dispute between his two sons, Prince Harry and Prince William, and reportedly has a special idea for doing so.
One thing still connects the three men today: the late Princess Diana.
Next August marks the 30th anniversary of her death. On that occasion, the monarch apparently wants to hold a memorial service for his ex‑wife.
Prince William (44) and Prince Harry (42) have apparently “rejected every chance of collaboration” – a joint religious event could change that.
An insider told the Daily Mail that such an event could bring the feuding brothers closer together again.
“This would be an inspirational way to remember Diana," the source said. "William could celebrate his mother’s life by giving a reading.
"That would be far more dignified than appearing in a television programme that would inevitably be portrayed as a rival to whatever Harry might make. And it would also serve to bring the brothers together."
Will Prince Harry and Prince William reconcile in honor of Princess Diana?
Prince Harry is currently planning a film about Diana. Whether William will appear in it, however, remains doubtful. The 42‑year‑old is said to have already spoken with Diana’s brother, Charles Spencer, to enlist him for the documentary.
Prince William and Prince Harry have been at odds for years. Since Harry moved to the US, he has repeatedly attacked his family and leveled serious accusations.
Among other things, the 44‑year‑old is alleged to have thrown his brother to the ground during an argument. Their relationship has not improved since then—not even after Harry returned to Britain about a month ago.
A few weeks ago, a royal expert gave a bleak outlook. According to her, William has cut ties with Harry. She explained, “He has his own family to protect and his responsibilities as Prince of Wales. ... The Sussexes’ presence will always generate noise and distraction.”
Harry, on the other hand, seems to view the situation more positively. Earlier this year, he said he wishes for peace with his family and has previously said life is too precious and he doesn't wish to fight any longer.
