Washington DC - President Donald Trump recently shared a wildly lengthy social media post dedicated to his hatred for comedian and political commentator Bill Maher.
On Sunday night, the president shared a Truth Social post that began by describing Maher as a "COMPLETE AND TOTAL LOSER" whose HBO show Real Time with Bill Maher is "not 'HOT' anymore!"
CNN has noted that the 1,323-word diatribe targeting Maher is the longest post Trump has ever written and comes as some major issues loom over his presidency, such as the upcoming midterm elections and his ongoing war with Iran.
Maher had joined the president for dinner at the White House earlier this month, which Trump later said went "great" and said of Maher, "I actually like him."
But on Friday, Maher had former press secretary Karoline Leavitt on his show, where he asked her questions that Trump evidently didn't approve of.
"Karoline Leavitt was GREAT on the show, but she started with a biased, dumb SLEAZEBAG, asking questions. She defended me, and herself, so well, but couldn't be comfortable going against Lie after Lie," Trump wrote.
The Republican further criticized Maher for discussing his poor polling numbers, described him as a drunk and a "pothead," denounced their dinner as "a waste of time," and accused the comedian of using a "laugh machine."
"Bill: Don't call anymore," Trump concluded.
Trump cuts ties with one of the few Democrats willing to bat for him
Maher is one of a few Democrats that has used his platform to defend Trump in his second term, particularly on the president's insistence of working closely with Israel, despite accusations that the country is conducting a genocide in Gaza.
In response to critics calling him out for his dinner with Trump, Maher said on his show, "Yeah, I did it again, b***hes. I know, I'm the bad guy because I go and say face-to-face to the man the things you write in articles that he'll never read, but okay. If you know what, f**k you. I like these dinners."
In his post, Trump also seemingly confirmed recent reports that he is considering an unprecedented plan to move the White House press pool to a different location.
