Washington DC - First Lady Melania Trump may have fallen short with her major documentary film, but she is trying once again to enter the spotlight with an upcoming limited docuseries.
During a recent interview with Real America's Voice, Marc Beckman, the first lady's senior advisor, confirmed the docuseries is coming in the fall, and will show "a total different experience" than the film which premiered in January.
"I hope everybody tunes in, because it's going to show a part of the first lady that hasn't been seen yet," Beckman said.
He went on to explain that while the film gave a glimpse into Melania's life during the 20 days leading up to her husband Donald Trump's 2025 presidential inauguration, the series will focus on "what happens right at the beginning" of the second administration.
Amazon MGM spent an astounding $75 million to make and promote the documentary film, which only ended up making $16 million – only a touch over 20% of its budget – at the box office. It was widely panned by critics, many labeling it "propaganda."
Financial disclosures revealed the first lady made an unprecedented $10.71 million off the project.
President Trump and Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos have both been repeatedly pressed on whether the project was an effort by the company to buy the president's favor, but both have denied having any part in the production.
Despite their dismissal, Amazon appears intent on working with the Trumps, and have even been considering a relaunch of The Apprentice – with Donald Trump Jr. as the star!
