A dog with maternal instincts for a bunch of kittens isn't something you see every day! But this sweet four-legged friend is happy to play the part and make sure "her" kitten babies feel the love!

A cutie canine treating kittens as if they're her own pups is a sight to behold! That seems to be the bond this apparent corgi-aussie mix has with its new kitten housemates.

In a video posted to Instagram by user @littlehouseofcrazies, the owner asks the seemingly impatient dog, "What?! Are you gonna go see your babies?" and the sweet pup gets the wiggles with excitement.

Once she moves the barricade separating two rooms, the dog gets a little pep in its step as it darts toward a cloud-covered pet bed with a little ginger kitten in it.

"There's your baby!" the owner says as the kitten sweetly reaches its paw toward the dog. The video then pans to quite the animal playscape as a different gray-and-white kitten appears and starts walking toward the dog.

"mama's here!" the owner says to the gray kitten as she slowly starts to prance over before pausing, giving the dog time to meet the kitty where it's at and smother it with kisses! A third gray kitten looks down from atop its kitty tower, only to hop down and join the loving fun.

"Obviously she birthed those babies herself. They look exactly like her," one Instagram user joked in the comments, while another said, "Just a birth mother and her biological children."

The kittens seem to love the dog's attention and motherly ways, and the pup appears to enjoy providing a safe space of warmnth and comfort for the crew. So sweet!
