Golden Retrievers are considered some of the nicest dogs in the world, but it seems Ruby didn't get the memo! In a viral video, the female Golden seems ready to risk the life of her adorable puppy sister, Pearl, all to get to her favorite toy.

In the clip that's been going viral on Instagram this week, the young pup named Pearl sits on the living‑room carpet like an innocent lamb. Golden Retriever Ruby, on the other hand, looks slightly puzzled at the camera.

The cause of the confusion? According to owner Anna, the little one didn't swipe just any old toy from Ruby – it was her absolute favorite.

The big dog simply can't let that slide. She first walks over to Pearl and stands beside her, clearly hatching a plan.

Then, she gets pretty bold. Ruby turns her backside to Pearl, tries to sit down – right on top of the poor little furball!

Little Pearl then struggles, somehow trying to free herself from the situation. Ruby watches closely as her furry opponent wriggles around.

Eventually, the Golden Retriever seems confident that Pearl can no longer cling to the toy – that's the moment the cheeky pup has been waiting for.

She suddenly lets go of Ruby, snatches her favorite toy in a flash, and darts away. At first, Pearl watches, stunned, then she takes off after her.

Meanwhile, the owner of the dogs can't help but laugh behind the camera – and even shows some sympathy for the older canine.

"Ruby is already over Pearl stealing her toys," Anna wrote in the caption.
