New York, New York - Chris Noth's brief cameo in the season finale for And Just Like That has been cut following recent sexual assault allegations against him.

And just like that, Mr Big has been removed from the Sex and the City (SATC) universe.

On Wednesday, TV Line confirmed that the actor's cameo in the upcoming finale for the HBO Max show has been taken out.

His well-known character John James Preston, aka Mr. Big, tragically died in the first episode of the SATC revival.

Following this, the actor hasn't been seen in the series, as his onscreen wife Sarah Jessica Parker – who plays Carrie Bradshaw – has been spending most of the time grieving his death.

Yet, the 67-year-old was slated to make an appearance in the show's finale when Carrie decides to take her late husband's ashes to Paris.

The decision follows multiple sexual misconduct allegations against the Law & Order alum.

Last month, two women shared via The Hollywood Reporter that the SATC star allegedly raped them on separate occasions.

The actor denied the claims and stated the encounters were "consensual."

In the days following, the actor's former costar Zoe Lister-Jones accused him of being a "predator" and "sexually inappropriate."

Most recently, singer Lisa Gentile also claimed that The Good Wife actor raped in her apartment in 2002, further adding that the star said he'd "ruin" her career if she "ever told a soul about what happened."

The star has also been dropped by his talent agency and lost endorsement deals amid the controversy.
