Los Angeles, California - August Alsina has revealed that he has a new love in his life - but it's not Jada Pinkett-Smith!

The 30-year-old R&B star has become the latest trending topic on Twitter after announcing that he has a boyfriend.

The chatter began on Monday evening when a clip circulated of the singer speaking about a man who helped him find "a love that feels limitless" while on the reboot of VH1's The Surreal Life.

Though Alsina has not clarified his sexual orientation or the name of his new fella, fans have surmised that the revelation means he is most likely a member of the LGBTQ+ community.

"And then what do you know? Love showed up, but in a new way," Alsina explained in the confessional before hugging his boyfriend, who was present.

"I want to share that and really honor the person that I love and that loves me back and that's teaching me so much about love and healing. I want to do that in front of the world because it defies all the constructs that one would say love is supposed to be or love should look like."

The surprising update comes nearly two years after his bombshell revelation that he was involved in an "entanglement" with Will Smith's wife.

In July 2020, the allegation was addressed by both the Oscar-winner and Jada, where she admitted to having relations with Alsina while she and Smith were separated.

But it appears everyone, mainly Alsina, has put the messy situation behind them.
