On Thursday, Momoa sparked chatter that Affleck could return as the caped crusader in the upcoming sequel.

The 42-year-old posted snaps on Instagram of their recent bro-down on Warner Bros Studios' lot, where they were busted by fans on a tour.

"REUNITED bruce and arthur. love u and miss u Ben WB studio tours just explored the backlot alright. busted on set all great things coming AQUAMAN 2 all my aloha j," Momoa captioned the post.

The Game of Thrones star also shared a clip to his IG story of himself hysterically laughing after the actors were caught by the tour group.

"Well, it's not a f***ing secret anymore, is it? That's what happens, Warner Bros., when you walk out of your set and there's our fans, Well, we tried to keep it a secret," Momoa joked.

While the upcoming DC Extended Universe flick has wrapped filming, the Aquaman star did previously tease on his story that he was "back on set" and "can't tell you what I'm doing" as it was "top secret."

Affleck, who recently tied the knot with Jennifer Lopez, hinted in an interview earlier this year that he won't be playing Caped Crusader "much longer," mostly due to his bad experiences on the set of The Justice League.

He's set to appear as the enigmatic Bruce Wayne in the 2023 flick The Flash.
